Citizen of Kansas City, Resource to the World

In our hometown of Kansas City, the Kauffman Foundation is proud to be a dedicated community partner, an incubator of ideas, a potential model for programs across the country, and an information resource to the far reaches of the globe.

Indeed, the world has changed; we are no longer separated by time and distance. In order to remain open to the greatest of possibilities, we must expand our horizons. While our grant dollars remain in Kansas City and the United States, we engage in worldwide dialogue—exchanging ideas, learning, and applying that knowledge for the most widespread benefit. Because of our experience in entrepreneurship, a growing number of countries look to the United States and the Kauffman Foundation to understand how to best emulate our entrepreneurial economy.
